Are you a cranky candidate?

While you're here, check out this quickie "Are you a cranky candidate" quiz to determine whether you qualify as a Cranky Buster or if you just got busted as a Cranky Pants:

1. Are you naturally inclined...

A) to get snappish and blow up over the smallish things that go wrong?

Or…

B) are you more likely to blow off life's little imperfections and get on with it?

2. When it comes to money...

A) are your spending habits outa control?

Or…

B) do you pride yourself on being a shrewd shopper, wise spender, and smart saver?

3. When it comes to work...

A) have you had it up to here with your boss and the people you work with (not to mention the work itself)?

Or…

B) are you one of those people who truly love their job?

4. Does the pressure of trying to be a better person...

A) make you cranky because it's too much work and you know it won't make a difference anyway?

Or

B) are you prone to keeping your commitments to yourself (maintaining a healthy weight, staying in shape, being a good listener, helping others, etc.)?

5. Do you often find.yourself...

A) constantly judging others and secretly feeling a little smug because of the comparisons?

Or

B) are you the kind of person who long ago gave up the need to feel superior?

6. Do you...

A) tend to get cranky when you're asked probing questions like these?

Or

B) do you like the challenge of constant self-improvement?

If you picked more of the “A” items instead of the “B” choices, you've been busted. It's time to lose the cranky pants before you end up with a permanent knot in your knickers!

Yes, life is less than perfect, but it's always been that way—don't let the little imperfections make you cranky hard to live with.

While there are many serious issues to worry about in the world today (terrorism, money, job security, yellow teeth), it's usually not the big things that cause cranky outbreaks.

Instead of getting huffy over the little things that go wrong, why not feel good about the big things in your life that are right?

This is a perfect time to clear out the crankies. It's a good time to turn inward and relax, to show up and grow up.

It's also a good time to ponder the question, "Why Is Everyone So Cranky?" so you can avoid getting bit by the cranky bug!
